The video quality of Divx Video is quite good, especial for animation. (It’s a review clip from Neon Genesis Evangelion. ) The famous Youtube or Google Video can’t match it, but the problems are the video size may be too large for viewing online, because it’s avi encoded by Divx codec, it seems to load slower, so peeple don’t like it than Flv format, which Youtube using, and it forces user to install Divx Web Player to view, and some people don’t like to add a software just for a video clip. The Adobe Flash Player is more familiar. However, the community of Divx Video on Stage 6 is growing fast. And aslo I don’t think Youtube Video load faster, either ( stage6.divx.com ) .
